I realize this is not a for-sale group, but since I'm referring to Z100 hardware this seemed like the best news group. I have a low profile Z100 that I would like to sell and I'm looking for suggestions about the best way to sell it. I had an offer of "about $125" for the machine without memory or disk drives (the guy wanted it for the motherboard, disk controller and power supply), but I am also willing to sell it in a more complete condition. The computer is a new motherboard low-profile, set up for two half height floppies. It has been upgraded to use 256k chips (total 768k), is 5/8 mhz switchable, and I built the ZPC hardware board for greater IBM PC compatibility. I also have an older version of the ZPC software. I have had no hardware or software problems with the computer, but I now have another PC and don't need the Z100. Based on the original purchase offer I have taken out the memory and disk drives and have sold one of the floppy drives, but it wouldn't take much to get it back to being a fully capable machine. At this point the memory is probably worth more than anything else in the machine so I would want to get a reasonable price (whatever that may be) if I reassemble the computer and include the memory. If I find someone who wants the Z100 without the documentation I can offer the complete set of docs to the person who was asking for Z100 documentation. I don't want any money for the docs, but if I sell the computer as a complete unit I'm sure the buyer will want the technical info. Now for the real request: Will anyone who is interested in buying any or all of my Z100 hardware please contact be by e-mail (preferred) or through this news group. Tell me what you are interested in buying and I'll suggest a price. We can work it out from there. Bruce Carlson carlson@gateway.mitre.org (work) 703-883-7644
