The program that I am writing uses Pickles and Trout IEEE-488 (GPIB)
software. I have this running with BASCOM under ZDOS. Another part
of the program needs to drive two stepper motors. I am using a
cromenco A to D converter thatr is wired into the s-100 bus.
If I boot the machine with CPM, and load MBASIC, I can send a byte to
the port at address 24 (18H) with the folowing basic instruction.
OUT 24,<byte>
This byte drives the lines high on the cromenco board. But, when I
try to use the same command with BASCOM under ZDOS, I access the A:
floppy drive port. I get the drive to spin and everything.
Does anybody have any idea what port I should be accessing under ZDOS
to get the 24 port under CPM. Alternativly, does anyone know where I
should start looking for this info. Any mauals that the department
had for this computer are missing.
