A new test version of Z-100 MS-Kermit is available via anonymous ftp from clutx.clarkson.edu as pub/mstz10.exe. This version includes: Flow control (Xon/Xoff) Better performance at 9600 baud (25%?) SET TERMINAL VT52 command SET TERMINAL NONE command The VT52 mode allows use of the VT52 printer escape codes. These codes are documented in the Kermit User Guide, available from via anonymous ftp from watsun.cc.columbia.edu as kermit/a/mskerm.doc. The SET TERMINAL NONE command allows terminal output to be driven by MS-DOS drivers such as ANSI.SYS. Alas, the MS-DOS overhead is S-L-O-W. All bug reports to yours truly, please. Any predictions on availability of VT102 emulation in Z-100 Kermit? I've tried Zcomm and BinkleyTerm, and can't get either one to correctly emulate a VT100. -- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ | Richard M.
