Several weeks ago I posted a request about how to make COMMAND.COM work on a RAMDRIVE (for reloading after an application has used all of the TPA, thus wiping out COMMAND.COM). I tried SET COMSPEC=COMMAND.COM in an AUTOEXEC.BAT file, but ahd@kendra.wf.ags.com said that the proper setup had to done through the CONFIG.SYS file and that I could use a program called SHELL.ASM available from the public directory at clutx.clarkson.edu. Unfortunately, when I tried ftp, there was nothing even remotely resembling any program called SHELL.ASM, and my attempts to contact ahd have gone unanswered. Does anyone else have any ideas, either where to obtain SHELL.ASM (even a photocopy of a paper copy would help) or where to learn what it should contain? --Myron -- Myron A.
