I've finally run out of environment space (200 bytes?) in my Z100 running MSDOS 3.1 trying a really complicated PROMPT string. Can't trim my path anymore, so I'm looking for a way to extend the limit beyond 200 bytes. Is there one? Dick, Use the /E option, I think: SHELL=\command.com /e:25 Will give you 25 paragraphs (16*25 bytes = 400 bytes) of environment space. Note that at MS-DOS 3.2 (I think), the value changes to bytes directly. Of course, THAT doesn't apply to the Z-100.
