I'm no repair expert, but it sounds like your monitor may be ok, Richard. Have you tried it on your friend's micro? I once had an EGA monitor repaired at a TV repair shop. Had to send away for the circuit diagrams, but they handled it at the shop. Either a TV repair shop or an eelectronics supply store may have parts at discound prices, if you know what you're after, or can find a user-friendly salesman. Frank Starr 55srwlgs@sacemnet.af.mil
