Paul F. Herman (Inc.) is looking into rights to copy/distribute/public domain, etc, all of Zeniths unavailable software (MS-DOS V3.10, GW-BASIC V2/3?, etc). On the MS-DOS V3, he has permission from Zenith for the Zenith portion of the OS (IO.SYS, FORMAT, DISKCOPY, and Hard Disk Utils, etc), but has to go thru MicroSoft for the rest (MSDOS.SYS, COMMAND.COM, etc). This is easier than expected, so I heard. I'll know more in Nov at the Z-100 Conference in Norfolk. Getting manuals physically copied is another minor problem... Cheers, Gern -------
