Well, I guess I'll be silly here. I've got a z100 at home which seems to be working just fine. I'm interested in maybe adding a small hard drive to it, just for fun. Does anyone out there have a z100 controller card & hard drive gathering dust? Or, failing that, how about just the controller card and info on what kinds of hard drives it could control. I can't afford to pay much, but let's talk... The evil day came. My Z100 (low profile) unit died. The fan runs, the keyboard clicks, the floppies spin, and the floppy LEDs flicker when I cycle the power, and there appears to be blank video being generated, but it doesn't run. The keyboard does stop clicking after a while, but I didn't count how many clicks it was buffering. Any suggestions? All I've done to fix this is reset the disk controller board. I can do simple electronics work, but it isn't my primary machine anymore. --- Richard Conto rsc@merit.edu Richard_Conto@um.cc.umich.edu USERW014@UMICHUM.bitnet
