[comp.os.xinu] Looking for folks with

rfg@nsc.UUCP (06/04/88)

I would like to establish contact with anyone (and everyone) who is or has
recently used XINU for a real-time application and/or anyone and everyone
who might have done a recent port (Vers.7 preferred) to any of the National
NS 32xxx CPUs.

I would especially like to get people's impressions as to the viability of
XINU as a real-time applications platform. If there are sufficient
responses, I would be glad to summarize them to the net.

Anyone with experience doing an XINU to 32xxx port could also give me some
valuable information. Has anyone in netland ever done this? I believe that
the book says that a port to 32xxx has been done, but Dr. Comer could only
give me an E-mail address for a guy who did a V.6 port about two years ago.
I have tried to make contact with this person, but either his net address is
now defunct or the mailer here on my home system has trouble digesting net
addresses with percent-signs or domain BITNET's in them. I never did under-
stand mail fully. Oh well... I'm still trying.
