[comp.os.xinu] How can I get XINU source?

Bill
I bought the xinu tape from the same publisher that puts
out the book. Call them and they can give you the latest price
and particulars. When I received it they only sent it out on
a 9 track 1600 BPI tape in tar format. Moreover they required
that you have a unix license and provide proof of the same. AS
my machine is a Callan which had even then gone out of business
I was forced to improvise and provide them with some xerox copy
of a licensing agreement with Callan. All of which meant nothing
to either party other than they used it to CYA releasing anything
which might be copyrightable. I literally made the form up using
an old software license from Callan. I can't say I have made any
granduse of the code. Actually it was intended for the PDP-11
and I am running a mc68000 on a multi-bus backplace. I'd suggest
purchasing the tape outright. The code- I believe is - not
copy rightable. And you could have just about anyone provide
you with a copy. However, much of the tape was taken up with
documentation which is that you may or may not want.
have fun
