[comp.os.xinu] The C-Shell of Unix.

Can anyone please tell me when the C-Shell was introduced in the
command interpreter of UNIX.  Somebody told me it was around
1981 or 1982 but he was not sure.  I am interested mainly in
the alias command and its implementation (a reference will be
helpfull).
