Having recently purchased the first book on Xinu, I have a couple of questions. First, has anyone out there in netland ported Xinu over to the Atari ST? If so, is it possible to get the code? Also, I have heard that there is a Mac-specific book about Xinu. Whom do I contact to purchase it? Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me.

I haven't seen any reply to your questions yet. I don't know of anyone who has ported Xinu to an Atari ST, but Doug Comer would know better than I would (he is listening to this list). The Macintosh version of volume I is now available in bookstores. If you can't find it, go to your favorite bookstore or computer store and have them order it for you. Operating System Design, Vol. I: The Xinu Approach (Macintosh Edition) Douglas Comer and Steven Munson Copyright 1989, Prentice-Hall I think that's all you have to know to order it. It was ported by John Waldron at Trinity College Dublin. If anyone is interested I could ask him for info regarding distribution. -- Tommy $P-) : FLAMES HIGH LOW DO TURN-DIAL LOOP ; E-mail: trolfs@vax1.tcd.ie MAX_NUM CONSTANT SPELLING-MISTAKES :If you don't get a reply, let me know.
