Hi,
I've been teaching Xinu on the PC for three years now and have really
enjoyed working with the system. We've produced minor changes here
and there. Recently, one of my students has altered Tim Fossum's window
system to allow for up to 14 overlapping windows. Thus 14 different
processes can each attach themselves to a window and each write to its
own window. This system is having more and more features added to it.
Another student is battling with the link level driver for the 3-com
503 card. I have started on a driver for the MPU-401 MIDI card.
What progress has there been on the book 2 implementation of Xinu? Has
anyone done any work on an 80286 implementation?
