This is a common problem with inkjet printers in general and unfortunately HP didn't lick the problem. Many mentioned that clogs were fairly easy to fix by hand, which may be some compensation. The other complaint with high marks is the special paper recommended for use with the Thinkjet. It is expensive and not readily available. The cost figures quoted were >$60 per box of 3000. Many said there was noticable degradation of print quality when ordinary printer paper was used. What am I going to do? I decided in favor of the Thinkjet. May 1985 bring you joy unspeakable.
