Alan Vymetalik's shaking the trees for people committed to the Rainbow
seems to have generated more interest in INFO-DEC-MICRO than anything else
in the year or so that I've been subscribing! Include me, also, among the
ranks of those still enamoured of their Rainbows! Right now, I'm interested
in finding a good PD graphics editor - any tips? Also, if anyone is
interested, watch out for a new version (4.0) of JOBSDUMP, coming soon to
a BBS near you!!!! New features include: speed, small output file size,
screen previews and Epson printer support.

I to have a continuing interest in the Rainbow.
I would love to see the Rainbow echo mail conference mail summarized (or even
gatewayed) onto info-dec-micro. Another source of information that I sometimes
can tap are the DECUS Rainbow LUG newsletter. The Bay area rainbow lug
has had a nice newsletter that is stored on their fido for down
loading. If someone local to them could upload it and place it on the
circuit, I am certain that all would enjoy it.
I have access to 7 Rainbows. Most are equiped with color monitors.
The primary usage for the systems is hobby oriented. Major software
run is:
Mass11 for word processing (formerly used Freestyle)
Home Accountant Plus to maintain home budget
LDS geneology package (used by my father)
Turbo Pascal
DR LOGO
Dbase III for inventory
I would like information on pd graphics programs.
