The A.C. in Israel is 220 V, 50 Hz (in the U.S.: 110 V, 60 Hz).
According to the manuals, I should set my Rainbow 100B (in the SET-UP
screen) to 50 Hz. Surprisingly enough, it seems to work just as well
if I set it to 60 Hz. The advantage is that the screen scrolls 20%
faster!! (which is very noticeable). The clock works fine either
way (and the CLIKCLOK too).
My question, for all the technical people: Can this damage anything ?
(monitor, power supply, mother board, etc.).
Thanks,
Sergiu Hart
