[comp.sys.dec.micro] UTE and Dover Graphics Announcement

iav1917@ritcv.UUCP (alan i. vymetalik) (12/16/87)

For all you die-hard Rainbow fans out there...

UTE (Chris Korda and Robert Kimberk) will soon be releasing a
new graphics package for the Rainbow: UTE/Dover Graphics.

The demo of this package is beginning to circulate through the
Rainbow FIDO/OPUS community. I am trying to get the Sysop on
the HitchHiker's Guide (1-315-589-7361) to move it into the
   Graphics Area tomorrow.

The demo shows some incredible graphics for the Rainbow and
the package looks quiet powerful: X/Y image flips, rotations,
invert images, circles, arcs, fills, multitude of line types,
text displays, LARGE page (bigger than one single screen)
support, as well as many other features. It's fast and it
looks quiet professional (for the most part). It is
written in Turbo Pascal (with INLINEs, no doubt). I wonder
what it could do with 8087 calls and maybe running under
   Turbo Pascal V4.0...

NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THE PRODUCT OR ITS AUTHORS.
I HAVE NO AFFLIATION WITH THEM OTHER THAN POSSESSING THE DEMO
PROGRAM. THIS IS JUST AN ANNOUNCEMENT. IT'S PACKAGE THAT
COULD WARRANT A CLOSE LOOK, THAT'S ALL...

For more information about this package:

I'll be posting the demo to the net if I get enough response.

   Enjoy,
   Alan
