[] Does anyone have a version of PROTECT for the Rainbow ? What it does (for the IBM PC) is to disallow (temporarily) the writing and formatting of the hard disk. It is useful when checking new and unknown software. The program is quite simple, and there should be no problem to adapt it to the Rainbow (provided someone knows exactly what are the correct interrupts!). I have the source PROTECT.ASM, and will send it to anyone who wishes to do these changes. For some reason I no longer receive the messages of this list. I sent twice mail to info-dec-micro-request, but without success. Perhaps now it will work, and my subscription will be renewed ? Thanks!
