To those of you using (or interested in using) Turbo Pascal V4.0 on the Rainbow: 1) I have written and will distribute on request, a Rainbow-compatible version of the CRT unit. (using DOS calls, not fast video) Not all of the functions are implemented (e.g. windows) but the ones I have found most important are (e.g keypressed, readkey, delay, wherex, wherey) 2) I have also put together a Rainbow-compatible GRAPH unit, based on Ken Nist's RBGRAPH package. There are some details I haven't implemented (such as viewports), but otherwise it is pretty complete. It runs Borland's GRDEMO program with no modifications. I have asked Ken whether he objects to my distributing it, but I'm waiting for an answer. Let me know directly if you're interested. _______ / / o ____ (__ /_(_/) ) ) Jim O'Brien Department of Chemical Engineering Yale University P.O.Box 2159 Yale Station New Haven, CT 06520, U.S.A. +1 203 432 4382 Return Addresses (both equivalent): OBRIEN@YALEVMS BITNET OBRIEN@VENUS.YCC.YALE.EDU Internet
