I have been using envsize to expand my environment space, however I just added too many environment variables in my autoexec and now I get this wonderful message insert disk with batch file. I tried the trick of chaining to another batch file, but this only made it worse. I am using MSDOS 2.11. If I use the new 3.1 will I be able to get around this? Has anyone else found this problem? I could probably define some of these variables in another batch file later, but it is so convenient to do everything in the autoexec. On a side note to all the Rainbow users, I thought it might be interesting to find out what programs other people have memory resident. I use the following memory resident programs: rb-buffer expands the type ahead buffer dpath30 finds data files like PATH finds executables history provides command history hdrpt fixes hard disk error reporting prntscr4 enables the print screen key envsize expands the environment variable space -- Stan Dutler There ya go man, Keep as cool as ya can ..ihnp4!ihuxz!dutler Face piles of trials with smiles
