Hello all you anxious DEC Rainbow users out there...

If you object to outright, shameless advertising, please hit

I want to state, up front, I have NO connection with Suitable Solutions
other than a couple of letters and the fact I paid them some money
so they could send me some software and hardware. This posting is
done without their consent. However, I doubt they'll refuse the

Solutions. If you have a hard disk on your Rainbow, MS-DOS 3.10
allows you to use partitions as large as 32 megabytes each. MS-DOS
3.10 also features improved backup and restore capabilities, and a
number of new commands such as ASSIGN (to send input or output from
one drive to another automatically), ATTRIB (to control file attributes),
LABEL (to assign volume labels to your drives [sic]), and SUBST (to
access a path as a logical drive).
For only $99 you will receive complete software, an MS-DOS 3.10 Manual,
and 30 days of telephone support. An additional $50 per MS-DOS 3.10
license entitles you to one year of telephone support and free software
updates."
So, GET YOUR ORDERS IN! The prices appear to be good only until 8/31/88

MS-DOS 3.10 weighs 2 pounds (shipping, therefore, is $15.00 US

I haven't confirmed this with Suitable Solutions.

work a lot better than the, ahem, pirated versions rumored to exist

Rainbow through one of the only companies left IN THE WORLD that still
cares about you!
