My mailer couldn't do anything with any of George's addresses - George, Your symptom sounds much like a problem my office "-A" has when it has been a long time. When i use SET-UP ^SET-UP it goes through the self- test then stops, never reaching the point where i can select a boot disk. It also has *NO HARD DISK*. The frequency of the problem was reduced by replacing the floppy controller (DEC office - we can afford to do that). I've been tempted to try a new motherboard, but it wasn't that pressing of a problem, yet. My home machine has never had that problem, so one of the things i looked for was differences, starting with ROM rev. level. IDENTICAL. If we are talking about the same sort of problem, i will start looking closer and see what i can find. [dale] -------
