Apologies to the folks that tried to anonymous ftp to one of the Unix
machines as I suggested to get the files.
It seems, under the wisdom of the administration around here, that
anonymous ftp'ing was disabled on Andrew. Seems they have some
copyright problems on some stuff held on Andrew. I've put in my two
cents but have no idea how ling it will take them to fix it.
So. I am in the process of putting the files in a subdirectory on
Drycas. I'll have it all done this weekend and will post to y'all
when it's done. I'll also check and make sure I can anonymous ftp
before I announce this time (administration allows it on all the
other machines here - makes no sense...).
Lastly, I have only four votes on whether people want the files
broadly distributed. So far there is 1 yes (mail the uuencoded ones
to everybody) and 3 no's (ftp and file request of files). I need a
few more votes before I make a decision. Let me know how you feel
about it.
