Help! Much of the new software will only deARC with the newest versions of ARC-type programs. I tried downloading PK361 and ARCE31C, both of which blew up immediately, in one case shuting off main interrupts and sending me back to the BOOT prompt. I have heard there is a Rainbow suitable version called PKXARC, but haven't found a bulletin board which has it. Can someone please give a pointer to a source (BBS, mil-net archive, etc.) that -for sure- has a useable program? advTHANXance [dale] -------

Thank You everyone who offered help in my headache trying to get a newer program, especially Rob Locke. It turned out that my MS-Kermit v2.30 was broken. It reported transfers as intact, when, in fact, they weren't. Problem was solved by using CPM86 version of Kermit and FILEX'ing them to MuShDOS. Thank heavens for good old RELIABLE cp/m. Now i know why someone was looking for a v2.31 of MS-Kermit. thanx again, [dale] -------
