I'll give away my DeSmet C compiler plus a copy of K&R (1st edition) to the first person to contact me. I do ask, however, that you pay shipping charges (about $3 should cover it) and send me a box big enough for a 3-ring binder. Also, if you enclose two floppies, I'll send you my C and assembler code for Rainbow firmware support! DeSmet C includes a C compiler, assembler, editor, and _source level_ debugger!!! Its object modules are not compatible with Microsoft's .OBJ files. Compiled code is typically small and fast. Why am I doing this? I was given the compiler and book by a friend to get me started with C. Now I'm spending most of my computer time on a PC clone using TURBO C. Plus, there's the small matter of a dissertation that needs to be written...
