Thanks Alan for a great collection of information. It really has perked up this Rainbow owner! Does anyone know what's become of Rainbow News, Caroline Mack's terrific newsletter? It's been quite some time since I've received it. I assume she's still publishing, tho' no one here at Penn seems to have received anything lately so it's probably not a mailing list problem. What ever became of Richard Thomson and his changes to the Rainbow's BIOS? Remember, the changes that would let us replace our RX50's with double-sided, 96TPI drives and get Rainbow _and_ PC data compatibility! He had expressed concerns over possible lawsuits if problems ever arose. Provided the changes were reviewed favourably, I think most of us would give up our ability to sue simply to get a hold of such a fantastic set of drives! I haven't seen any reviews of the '286 board which Suitable Solutions came out with last year. Does anyone have it in their Rainbow? Looks like Jim O'Brien does. For those that do, how does it look/run?
