As I recall, Brief does some pretty heavy messing around with the PC's interrupts. Code Blue cannot emulate the hardware interrupts exactly, so programs like Brief have a hard time running. There is no CB setting that will help, but there IS a Brief flag that will help. I don't remember exactly what it is, but it might be -k. Essentially, it tells Brief that you're using a computer with a non-IBM-standard keyboard, so Brief is a little nicer to the hardware. I got an older version of it running pretty well, although I vaguely remember some problem with Brief trashing the floppy disk driver. It wasn't a problem if you were running from the hard disk. It was, however, a lot slower than I would have liked. Hope this helps! Dan Pleasant
