[comp.sys.dec.micro] Pro 3xx software closeout

JMS@MIS.ARIZONA.EDU ("Quick, VT-180, to the VAXmobile.") (07/16/89)

I'm packing up to move to another office, and when I took down my sturdy
white-board, lo and behold, on the bookshelf behind it, is a treasure
trove of 1987-vintage Pro software.

Well, we got rid of our Pros several months ago, so I've got no use for
this stuff. But, I don't want to break it up into each package and send
those out, because that turns out to be a lot of trouble. So, what I'd
like to do is find someone who wants the whole lot, and they can do whatever
they want with it (keep, resell, etc).

Here's what there is: manuals on four shelves, floppies on another. It is
highly likely that all of the floppies are there, but no guarantees (I took
a cursory look, and they all look OK). At the very least, the manuals are
complete.

Legal notice: when you get these manuals, I am transferring to you all right
and title in the software. You agree to abide by whatever copyright stuff
is printed on the side!!!

Here's what's there:

NAPLPS, Smart Mailer, Corgraph, Pro/Videotex, Pro/Office Workstation,
Supercomp 20, Cortex Desk Set, RS/1, Protocall 1000, Maps/Pro, NPL
Information Management, Pro Basic, Datatrieve, Prose Plus, P/OS (V3),
Pro/Decnet, Pro Communications (Diskette), Pro Communications (Hard Disk).

Plus:

Rainbow stuff - MBASIC 86, CPM-86, MS-DOS, etc.

In short, you get all the Pro software I own, and all the Pro floppies I might
have accumulated (some DECUS stuff is in there), and I don't have to move
6 more boxes of stuff.

What's the catch?

Price, obviously. In the absence of any obvious value on Pro software,
I'm arbitrarily coming up with a price of $750 + 1/2 cost to ship (estimate
around $100 to ship, depending on where you live).

AS IS! If you get it and something major is wrong, let me know
and we'll work something out. But, quite frankly, it's not worth the
time to find a Pro, install it all, and test to make sure each package
is there.

First come, first served. If you have a better idea, let me know.
