Summer is coming to an end, but I still have several projects at
hand. If anybody is interested, or has written something similar,
please drop me a note.
(1) F88 : 80x8x Forth version 1.0b. This is the new public
domain version of the Forth 83 standard. It uses
sequential files and has an amazing amount of code
(approx. 2 meg). I'm finishing up the interrupt
calls at the moment. When the high speed video
is finished - this is the default write, I'll
post it on drycas.club.cc.cmu.edu.
(2) Freemacs : Russell Nelson's public released emacs editor.
I started writing the rainbow specific file, but
ran back to finish forth. It will be nice to have
a close GNU Emacs running on my old friend.
(3) Mouse Driver that supports INT 33 calls. This was needed
because of a Logitech Mouse that happened home one
day. I'm basing it on the routines from MSDGL, but
these are all Microsoft Mouse based. The important
question: what is the byte decoding scheme for the
default five bytes returned by the mouse.
Enough on these. The trivia question of the week is - What interrupt
call (or jump) will cause the Rainbow to hang with a memory error?
Food for thought : Has anyone written a GIF Viewer for the Rainbow?
Many Thanks,
Bill
