Reply to Frank Mallory's question about possible problems with JOBSDUMP:

JOBSDUMP is now at V4.2, but the changes from 4.1 are minor (e.g. fudged
support for the LA100 by repeating every 4th sixel, support for Suitable
Solutions IBM character generator ROM if present). I run HISTORY and
RB-BUFFR, and always have, and I've never seen any interference with JOBSDUMP
or anything else except ReGIS. In fact, both HISTORY (7.0?) and RB-BUFFR (?)
are present on my system even when I'm developing. A caution - if you want to
print out a ReGIS picture, get out of ReGIS mode first!

JOBSDUMP will not run under graphics mode, as
it directly accesses the INT 18H ROM video functions-it requires text mode. If
you're running it from GW-BASIC, you need to issue a SCREEN 0 command to get to
text mode before SHELLing to JOBSDUMP. As far as the printout goes, I've also
never seen a problem. One difficulty I do know about is the following: if the
image being printed was generated using GSX-86 under MS-DOS, JOBSDUMP prints
the picture correctly, but the graphics memory gets corrupted in the process. I
think that may be due to interrupt manipulation by GSX-86, and it was never
important enough to me to spend the time looking for the problem.

If I were you, I'd check out the printer with some other software too. Failing
that, contact me directly and we can try to iron this out.

				Regards, Jim.
