hi folks wife is leaning on me (hi honey!) to help unclutter the house by selling my faithful but alas rarely used Rainbow 100 (she got a nice grant, bought a nice mac, etc...) It's in great condition, basically only used as a terminal, a 1983 vintage 100 with basically no additions. No hard disk, no graphics card, 64k (no typo!) RAM, monochrome monitor but has never had even a hint of a problem mechanically. Only software I have is CPM80/86 and Turbo Pascal (wow, serious nostalgia) plus a few dorky assembler programs I wrote. Question is: 1 How much would be a fair price for this aged but well-kept machine? 2 What/where/how is the best way to sell? 3 I remember seeing an ad for a place that buys used DEC micros, DecTech or something like that but can't seem to find them now; any leads? I'm not trying to make money on this, just a fair deal. I actually posted a similar request last year but life became very complicated and I vanished for a while. Now, she REALLY wants me to get this taken care of so I would be very grateful for any help in selling this fine old mare.
