[net.micro] an old idea who is still old

cem@intelca.UUCP (Chuck McManis) (01/18/85)

I realize there are lots of fond memories about ones first computer and
first program etc, but do we really need to fill net.micro with discussions
of the 1130? send it to net.arch if you want to discuss archetecture(sp?)
tradeoffs and net.singles if you want to bemoan the lost of your one true
love!

And to think I archive this stuff! One was nice, two were ok, three were
redundant, after four we lose site of the original subject ...

I can't help it - I must *burn* this response. If you don't like whats being
discussed don't read the material. If you don't have program to allow you
to first read subject headings then get a better one. Any group can be only
so well controlled. As it happens to be this is a group for the discussion
of microcomputers and computers in general. Stories about good 'ol machines
is often informative and highly enjoyable. Don't ruin it for others and
remember that you needn't read an article if you don't enjoy it.

Sorry for the flame but it is important that we keep things light on the
net. geller at rlgvax

Yes. Net.arch could double as net.archean. Ideal for discussions about
the 1130.
