I am considering networking three IBM PC's at work, but I don't
know much about networking or what is available on the market. any
information that you can provide to me would be greatly appreciated.
At present there arre two IBM PC's, each 640K, and each with an
Epson Printer and 2-360K disk drives. There is the possibility of
purchasing a Laser Printer. The main justification for networking is
to share the printer, as well as to share files (both data and programs).
Whatever the system, it must be able to cope with Lotus 1-2-3, dBASE III,
and as a bonus symphony.
I will summarize all responses to the net in the near future. Hopefully,
an additional workstation and network package will be under $13000 cdn.
