I have some Rainbow utilities that I got both off of the net, and by ftp'ing. After some unpacking (uudecode, etc.) I get files of the form *.zip. The only trouble is that the archiving programs I have don't seem to handle these. One program does recognize it as an archive, but apparently can't unpack it. Could someone please tell me how to unpack *.zip files on my Rainbow? What utility does this, and where can I get it? (Anonymous ftp would be the handiest). Thanks in Advance. <->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<-> Glen Beer Feak gbf@caen.engin.umich.edu 2239 EECS Building EECS Department, The University of Michigan PHONE:(313)763-6689 Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109-2122 <->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->

You need a program such as PKUNZIP, the latest version of
which is v1.10. A copy is available from the INFO-DEC-MICRO
file archives on DRYCAS.CLUB.CC.CMU.EDU in the directory
INFO-DEC-MICRO.UPLOADS. Get the file PKZ110EU.EXE back to
your machine, run it to extract the documentation and
executables, and voila.
BTW: There's a large collection of files in the uploads
directory on DRYCAS. Rob Locke hasn't had a chance yet to sort
them out and test them, but the group does include updates
to several programs in other directories.

(Anonymous ftp would be the handiest). you need pkzip/pkunzip. you'll find it at your friendly neighborhood FTP site, usually in the ibm section. -- fzsitvay@techbook.COM - but don't quote me on that....
