I recently had to respond to my daughter's cry for help with her computer science homework. She is using Turbo Pascal 5.5 at school on a PC with a 3.5 inch floppy. She was berating me about the dinosaur have (a 100B) and why couldn't we get a PC that would run Turbo. Well, I had Turbo 3.0, but the changes in Turbo since then have been substantial. The user interface is totaly different and some of the capablity is new. Welll, to make a long story short I went to Soft Warehouse and bought Turbo 6.0 and tried it under CB and MSDOS 3.1 on the 'Bow. It works fine. Only problem is now my daughter must write her work she does at school onto a 3.5 in and transfer them on another machine to a 5.25 in single sided, bring it home, read it in to the hard disk, work at home, write out the results onto another single sided reserved for writing on the 'bow and reading on the PC, convert to 3.5 and continue. Well, it works anyhow! dennis
