it means:
1) Some one at DEC forgot about UL standards
2) You don't have an IBM PC

Say What?  There is this funny looking UL thing on the bottom of my
Rainbow.

Nope.

Many thanks to Ray Piworunas for making the right call based on a
rather vague and nebulous description.  My ON/OFF switch was broken.
One of the sides of the switch was always open.  So now I have two
Rainbows and one power switch.  Fortunately, the second Rainbow is
also missing other parts :-)
