[comp.sys.dec.micro] CODE BLUE

dn0o+@andrew.cmu.edu.UUCP (01/17/88)

I've just started reading this bboard, and I have a couple of questions about
Code Blue:
How much PC-DOS software will it run?
Is any extra hardware required?
Thanks in advance.

No, you don't need any hardware additions to run it, depending upon the
program you wish to run. You can run almost any program which utilizes
the direct memory access to the screen. (i.e. WordPerfect, and many word
processors.) You need at least 768K for this feature. If you still own
the DEC, as I do, you should probably subscribe to the Rainbow News.
It is one of the most informative publications for the Rainbow. They
have a list in almost every issue about the programs which will run
under Code Blue. You can send mail (U.S.) to:

	Caroline Mack
	Editor, Rainbow News
	P.O. Box 567
	O'Fallion, IL 62269

You can also order back copies from her, if there is some specific info you
want.
