We are running UNIX 4.2 on a VAX 780. I would like to use my HP150 as a terminal. Does anyone have a termcaps file for the HP150? Don Woodbury dxwoodbu@CRDC

Here is a termcap for the HP150 using its default terminal emulator. I didn't write it, and don't regularly use a 150, so I can't vouch for it (I do know it works with vi at least), but there are 3 HP150's at our site and people seem to enjoy using them with UNIX. h0|hp150|HP 150 - personal computer:\ :co#80:li#24:bs:\ :is=\E&a0c47R:cm=\E&a%dy%dC:\ :am:al=\EL:\ :up=\EA:do=\EB:nd=\EC:ho=\EH:bt=\Ei:xs:cd=\EJ:\ :ce=\EK:cl=\EH\EJ:dl=\EM:dc=\EP:im=\EQ:ei=\ER:\ :so=\E&dB:us=\E&dD:ue=\E&d@:se=\E&d@:\ :kh=\Eh:kd=\EB:kb=\ED:kl=\ED:kr=\EC: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Michael C. The HP150 has firmware to emulate an HP2623 terminal. This info is in the manual and (I think) in the setup menus on the screen. "setenv TERM hp" should work just fine. Use "hp2621" if you want to. There might even be an entry for "hp2623" in your termcap. For the real dope, call Hewlett-Packard. They even *sell* Unix (HP-UX). If they don't know, nobody does. wunder
