[I'm posting this for Hank Vaccaro; please respond directly to him and not to me.] From recent messages here, I get the idea that C-kermit works fine under AIX. Not for me. I just finished making C-Kermit 4E(072) using the sys3 flag for an RT running AIX 2.2.1. No real compile trouble, but using it is another matter. It hangs if I attempt to "set line /dev/tty?". "set line /dev/ltty?" works, but kermit can't see the modem's responses so it times out. (Yes, the Hayes is set to E1Q0.) Sometimes it fails to remove lock files after timing out (at least that's what the message says). The only change to the c code was to modify the attention string in ckudia.c to "ATE1Q0" just to be "safe". The same port and modem settings work fine with cu and uucp. The port is set up as remote (modem protocol), pro = dtr, and sns = false. Any ideas on what's wrong?
