I'm having a major headache trying to install magic from the latest M2C release on AIX 2.2.1. There is some trouble with saveimage() in the utils directory. There seems to be very processor-specific code here, but not for the RT. If someone has already tackled and overcome this problem, I would immensely appreciate a copy of that routine. Contact either me or James Jantz at (213)743-3752 about the details on the mods for saveimage.c. We have a document that lists all the needed changes to get magic to work under AIX (the changes for the RT are quite different from the ones needed for the PS/2).
