Anyone know if there is a way to make AIX respect hardware flow control as implemented by modems like the Hayes V-series? (This is where RTS/CTS are used in place of XON/XOFF.) Thanks. Numerous conversations with IBM have resulted in their admitting that they do not support conventional RTS/CTS flow control under AIX, and don't intend to in the near future. This was for the RT PC version of AIX, but I suspect the same is true for the PS/2 version as well.
