[comp.sys.ibm.pc.rt] 2 R40 drives

tew@n.sp.cs.cmu.edu (Thomas Warfel) (07/11/89)

Our recently upgraded Model 25 PC/RT has two unusable R40 drives. Does
anyone know if it is possible to make them work with a normal PC/XT controller
card?

Yes, it is possible. Depending on your version of DOS you might have to create
two partitions. The 'old' DOS did not support partitions larger than 32M.

I believe that they will work with an AT controller. Several people
at work use them that way.
