Has anyone had any luck getting a Telebit TrailBlazer Plus working at high speed ( >= 9600 baud ) with an IBM RT running AIX 2.2.1? We have the two native serial ports on the 6150-125 along with some ports on a Dicken's 16 port card available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Dahl uucp - uunet!bally!dahl Bally Systems domain - dahl@bally.bally.com 255 Bell Street Phone (702) 323-6156 x882 Reno, NV 89503 FAX (702) 323-5997

Yes, we are using it in communication between Oslo and New York and are achieving 9600 baud, on phone lines which we are not able to make communication at all with regulary modems (not even 300 baud). Seems to work just fine for me, at 19,200, using the planar serials. I don't have a Dickens card, so I can't testify to how that works. Make sure you have a recent level of maintenance. I lock the interface speed at 19,200, and let the modem match slower callers. Unfortunately, RTS/CTS flow control is not supported, but for UUCP, I find that it works to just turn flow control off. -- Nick Simicich --- uunet!bywater!scifi!njs --- njs@ibm.com (Internet)
