I need to dump gigabytes of disk to some form of backup storage such as a cartridge tape or WORM. Am interested getting at least one gigabyte per operator intervention. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this with an RT? charlie slater uunet!ibmsupt!cslater (UUCP) cslater%ibmsupt@uunet.uu.net (Internet)

If no one else has tried we can call up Exabyte and its competitors. I bought one to dump the dozen or so Sun 3/180 and 3/280 file servers at my facility at SRI. The 2gb covered a lot of incrementals - though I daisy chained the incrementals and did disk-to-disk dumps and just had the weeklies moved to cassette.
