Has anyone successfully compiled GNU Emacs ver 18.54 under AIX 2.2.1? I have gotten it as far as successfully making temacs, but when temacs tries to load the .el files, it bombs because its looking for /../lisp/xxxx.el. It seems to append a slash to the directory even if its relative. Please e-mail me if you've gotten past this point.
