----- I just came across a small PACE processor development board but it is dead. I think the processor is dead? Does anyone know where I might come across one of these oldies? Does anyone have any info about the PACE that they are willing to share? If you have docs etc. I would be willing to pay for copying and shipping of any materials. Thank You, John Papadopoulos

The PACE was a very early National Semiconductor 16-bit CPU. It was noted for its 10-deep subroutine return stack, which limited the depth of procedure calls.

My (admittedly antique) copy of Adam Osborne's "An Introduction to Microprocessors Volume III: Some Real Products" devotes 60 pages to the PACE. It should still be available in paperback.
