Hello, I am looking for information about the IBM X.25 Communications Adapter Card. We have received a couple of them but the documentation is limited and there is no support in the U.S. (so we are told). Apparently, this product comes from U.K. and they no longer support it either. If you have used one of these cards, we would be very interested in talking to you about it. Please send e-mail replies to: ...amc-gw!morpho!jt Thanks very much. You don't say whether you have purchased the IBM RT X.25 Communications Support product as well as the X.25 adapter cards. Unless you intend to develop your own adapter software and device driver, you need to purchase this product for each RT using X.25. When you receive the software, you will also receive two publications, the IBM RT PC X.25 Communications Support Programmer's Reference, and the IBM RT PC X.25 Communications Support User's Guide. These books tell you how to set up for X.25, use the supplied applications and the supplied programming interface. If you intend to use SNA Services or TCP/IP over X.25, then you need to refer to the latest SNA and TCP/IP publications and README files for configuration information. The product is actively supported from the UK. If you believe you have found a defect in the supported level of software, you should contact your IBM service representative in the US, who will direct problems to the support group here. The latest software level is 01.01.0010. If you don't have that level, you should ask your IBM service representative for update U400062. ------------------- I've posted the above for one of the authors of the support. Please address any follow up queries through IBM Support. Opinions are strictly my own, Allan D.
