[net.micro] Robotics kit from Fischertechnik

A friend of mine went to the CES and said there was an
interesting robotics kit being shown by a German company called
Fischertechnik. I am not sure of price but the small brochure he
had looked interesting - the kit could be built into about 5 or 6
different kinds of robots.
Anyone heard of this company and actually seen one of these?
Their USA distributor's address is:

Fischertechnik is a brand name for hobby products sold by the Fischer-Werke
company of Germany. They used to sell building sets with nylon blocks
and worm-drive motors. You could also buy electronic components for them
like flip-flops, multivibrators and amplifiers. I own 5 sets and still build
with them from time to time. Their products are ultra-high quality (each
block had a lifetime guarantee), imaginative, and allow you to build real,
working prototypes. I have not seen the robotics line but I can certainly
vouch for the company's reputation.

Fischerteknik is a toy line; try any big toy store.
