[comp.sys.ibm.pc.rt] RT 6150 Hard Disk mounting brackets

ehrlich@cs.psu.edu (Daniel Ehrlich) (01/05/90)

We are about to buy some Wren drives to install into our RT 6150s running
AOS. Does anyone know where one can purchase the rails that the drive ride
on? Are they the same as what one would use for a hard disk in an AT?

Thanks in advance.

For installing Micropolis 1355 and 1558 drives, we just cut some pieces
of plexiglass in roughly the same size and shape as the rails on a genuine
IBM E70 drive. I don't recall if they click in place as nicely or not,
but they seem to work fine.
