[comp.sys.ibm.pc.rt] Anybody ported sendmail 5.61 to AIX 2.2.1?

eliot@milton.acs.washington.edu (Eliot Lim) (05/05/90)

I am attempting the port right now and would appreciate any hints or gotchas
that anybody can share with me. I'm running into compile problems already
with the flock def's. Is this a crazy idea or has it actually been done?

Thanks in advance.

Eliot

No, I'm using it here right now, use 'lockf' instead of 'flock'. My
version came from uiuc.edu and includes the IDA patches for pathalias
etc. The files that I had to change are:

-rw-rw-rw- 1 clarke system 4415 Mar 18 10:32 Makefile
-rw-r--r-- 1 clarke system 986 Mar 19 1989 Version.c
-rw-r--r-- 1 clarke system 14868 Mar 17 12:43 alias.c
-rw-rw-rw- 1 clarke system 3003 Mar 18 10:19 conf.h
-rw-rw-rw- 1 clarke system 21161 Mar 18 11:02 daemon.c
-rw-r--r-- 1 clarke system 23013 Mar 17 12:49 sendmail.h

Seems to be working fairly well ...
